SPORT RELIEF FOOTBALL MATCH

March 2010

On a glorious sunny Sunday morning a team made up of staff/customers from the Sherston/Riverside played against Cheddar football team all in the name of Sport relief.  It was a great game and on the final whistle it was 6 -6 but luck wasn't on our side when Cheddar beat us on penalties.  Our thanks go to everyone who played and to those who came to cheer us on, between you all we raised £110 for Sport Relief.  THANK YOU.

FIRST BEER FESTIVAL IS A SUCCESS!

The first Beer Festival to be held at the Sherston Inn took place on 17th - 19th July.  Despite the rain, the weekend was a great success and enjoyed by all!   We were pleased to be able to donate £500 to Mendip Vale Carnival Club as a result of the weekends events!

PYJAMA PARTY FOR COMIC RELIEF

Staff and customers at the Sherston Inn ventured out in their pajamas to raise money for Comic Relief. Manager, Stuart Campbell, bravely had his chest waxed at the event, which raised a total of £170 for Comic Relief!

SHERSTON STAFF IN THE PINK!

OCTOBER 2008

Staff at the Sherston Inn swapped their usual black outfits for pink on Friday 31st October in aid of Breast Cancer Campaigns Dare to Wear Pink Day. There were pink specials on the menu and limited edition pink sparkling wine for sale. The Sherston donated £1 from every sale of pink specials or pink wine, and along with the Riverside, Cheddar, raised £102 for Breast Cancer Campaign!
